PDSpecifications and tolerances inspections for AP and BA tubes
Specifications (steel grade, finishing, hardness) required by
customers are inspected by use of X-Ray fluorescence
analyzer and tensile testing instrument. Tolerances in
the required specifications (length, outer diameter,
wall thickness or inner diameter) are inspected by
other instruments and visually.
QDEddy current inspection for AP and BA tubes
All cracks on outside surfaces which are out of required specifications
are detected and rejected.
RDMechanical inspection for AP and BA tubes
Mechanical properties such as tensile strength, proof stress and plasticity
are inspected conforming to JIS standards.
SDOthers
Other inspections conforming to JIS standards
Optional tests
1. Hydrostatic testing for AP and BA tubes
Proof pressure test is provided as requested by customer.
2. Surface roughness measuring for BA tube
Sampling inspection by use of surface roughness measuring
instrument as requested by customer
3. Corrosion test for AP and BA tubes
To confirm no grain boundary corrosion cracking by use of sulfuric acid/copper
sulfate@@
4. Dye penetrant test for BA tube
Inspection of minute cracks by penetrant liquid@@@@@
5. Others
Inspections conforming to respective specifications
of each countries@@@@@
